This one wasn’t actually going to be double size at first but I realized I needed more space to fit everything in. I’m pretty sure that there wasn’t even that much lemonade in the cup in the first place so I’m not sure what else he spit up. I think it’s funny that Andy is one of those people who says “OMG” in real life. There are only two more comics left before the end of part one and they will probably both be double size as well.

So this is the fortieth Lemon Inc. comic. I’m not sure if it turned out as dynamic as I had pictured it but I think it turned out pretty well.

Anyone going to the Wizard World Toronto Comic Con this weekend? I won’t be behind a booth there but my brother, Chris, will be. He’ll be helping out Shane Kirshenblatt and Kurt Lehner at their booth. If you’re going then stop by and say hi.

One last thing… Check out Down On The Farm. It’s a brand new webcomic that could use some more readers. It’s about a farm. It’s called Down On The Farm, what did you think it was about?

Again I was cutting this one VERY close to the deadline. I was having a hard time deciding just how I should go about representing a hip and swanky refreshment kiosk. I ended up showing it as a sort of nightclub that serves lemonade. I wanted it to have pretentious feel to it that says “are you swanky enough for this refreshment kiosk?!” and “if the answer is no then get the hell out of the kiosk!” I’m not sure why the bartender is shirtless but I’m sure it’s all part of Andy’s bizarre fantasy.

Fun Fact: Andy’s dad has a mustache but you can’t see it as his face remains hidden behind the newspaper throughout the comic. This is intentional but I’m not sure what the purpose of this is. I think that I’m trying to show as little of the adults faces as possible so that it creates the illusion that the kids have their own little version of the adults’ world.

I think this one is pretty funny. I’m not sure how good the art is but I worked really hard on it so I’m going to think that it looks rad. Please tell me whether it actually is in the comments.
