Hey, guys. New comics are coming soon, I swear. In the mean time I thought I’d show you this awesome piece of fanart I just got from Shane Kirshenblatt. Shane is a freelance illustrator, teaching artist, and the author of the graphic novel series Dorothy Gale: Journey to Oz. Shane was my art teacher from the [...]
Hey, I did a guest comic for Sean McLean over at Underwhelmed. You may remember him from the fanart I did for him, the fanart he did for me, or the time he featured Elephanté in one of his comics.
As you guys are probably aware, Sean McLean of Underwhelmed keeps drawing my characters. I had not drawn any of his yet so I decided to rectify that. I was going for a Japanese monster movie theme. I figure that when Doyle gets hungry he basically becomes like a giant Godzilla-like monster.
I’ve been meaning to do fanart for Scott Pilgrim for ages! I still haven’t had a chance to pick up the last volume so no spoilers! Originally this was going to include some characters other than Scott but I realized that I really liked drawing Scott so I just drew three of him. I ended [...]
Back in February I posted some fantart by Praveen Sawh. Recently he drew Jeff. In colour too!
He also drew Tommy on Odosketch.
I was excited to learn that Ryan Estrada reads Lemon Inc. and was even more excited when he sent me this awesome piece of fanart! I love his version of the characters. Especially Andy’s pretentious expression.
Ryan is an comic artist, filmmaker, and adventurer. He is the creator of Aki Alliance, Chillin’ Like Villains, [...]
Lemon Inc. reader and fellow artist, Praveen Sawh recently set up a daily sketch blog where he posts a sketch he did in his sketchbook every day. From Praveen’s blog…
Ok, so yesterday I had a moment on twitter where I decided that I should post sketches everyday. I [...]
Lemon Inc. reader, Josie, included Alison in a collection of chibis she drew. Alison is number 38. She’s right beside Rocky, from Lackadiasy (one of my all-time favourite comics!). She is small but the resemblance is definitely there. Josie is 12 and she has her own webcomic here. I wish I had had the [...]
My sister, Jen, (if you are on twitter you might be familiar with her as @ilovemom) drew this picture of Andy doing his signature “wink and point” gesture. I would call this my first piece of “fan art” but it’s drawn by my sister so I guess it doesn’t count.
