Hey, guys. New comics are coming soon, I swear. In the mean time I thought I’d show you this awesome piece of fanart I just got from Shane Kirshenblatt. Shane is a freelance illustrator, teaching artist, and the author of the graphic  novel series Dorothy Gale: Journey to Oz. Shane was my art teacher from the time I was twelve to fifteen. He taught me a lot of what I knew about drawing before I started Lemon Inc. and has continued to support my endeavors. One of the ways that he has done so is by drawing me this pinup. I really appreciate the attention to detail that he put into it. If you look closely you’ll notice that even the sun, the clouds, and the hills, are shaped like lemons.

    Frankenstein Jeff Pumpkin

Hopefully you aren’t tired of Halloween yet because I thought I’d share the pumpkin that i carved of Jeff. Well… The concept was actually “Frankenstein Jeff”, or Jeff dressed as Frankedstein for Halloween. I intended to post this closer to Halloween but this week’s comic was already late enough and I didn’t get a chance. Anyway here it is!

Last year I carved an Andy pumpkin. You may have seen this on my Flickr page before but I thought I’d post it here in case you missed it. Although I hadn’t even launched the comic at the time I was already planning to so I decided to carve him anyway.

    The Andy Pumpkin

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

    Steve Carrel On Leno

Steve Carrel has a funny story about his daughter’s lemonade stand in this video. Andy is considering moving to Los Angeles.

I never actually ran a lemonade stand as a child so I’m making Lemon Inc. up out of whole cloth. Anyone else have any funny stories about running a lemonade stand?

Kurt Sasso of the podcast TGT Webcomics was kind enough to do a spotlight on Lemon Inc. on his website! :w00t: Go read it and while you’re there you should try listening to the podcast where he interviews various webcomic authors. I’m a fan.
