Wow, I haven’t updated this blog since October… What the heck happened in November? Anyway I’m introducing two new characters in the next storyline so I took the time to do some proper character designs for them instead of basing their designs off of loose sketches like I usually do.
The first design is for Rachel. She will become Andy’s nemesis and the president of Sunshine Lemonade Co, the competitor to Lemon Inc. A staunch feminist and objectivist, Rachel’s heroes include Susan B. Anthony, Lucy Burns, and Ayn Rand. She’s basically going to be like a smarter female version of Andy.
The next design is for Becky. She is going to be Rachel’s “friend” and an employee of Sunshine Lemonade Co. Don’t be fooled by her cute and innocent appearance though. Becky uses her charming and persuasive wiles to trick and manipulate everyone around her.
I’m really excited about this upcoming storyline. These are the first girl characters that I’ve introduced that are not Alison. Actually these are the first major characters I’ve introduced since Tommy… Unless you would consider Gerald a major character.
