I know this comic isn’t the all that funny but it sets up the next two strips, which (in my humble opinion), will be hilarious. The layout and art are really pretty simple in this comic. I was trying to figure out why it felt so hard to draw this strip. I figured out that it was all due to the lettering. I completely hand lettered this one and there is A LOT of dialouge in this strip. By the time I got around to drawing the characters my hand was tired.

Both. Always choose both.
Hi Jen. I agree…ALWAYS choose both…just make sure the sprinkles are rainbow sprinkles!

Darn, I wanted caramel and nuts.
Fudge, Sprinkles, Waffle Cone, Nuts, oh and a dash of icecream if there is room :D
His friend reminds me of Cartman.. except not so sinister
I can see how you made that connection. That was probably an influence for him on this particular strip but his personality is actually very different from Cartman’s apart from the fact that he’s a spoiled fat kid. I’ve always thought of Jeff as being more similar to Jason from Home Movies (maybe a bit too similar). Andy might be a bit like Cartman in that he’s a schemer.
Hi Tim. I can hardly wait to see what constitutes a swanky Lemonade Stand! This comic leaves me wanting to see the next. Also, I notice that Jeff isn’t being offered just one sundae by his Mum, but is being offered SUNDAES…typical of Jeff??
Thanks for the comic posting,
Jane
