I was considering drawing out the storyline about how they construct the lemonade stand but I’m running out of material for it and I’m anxious to get see their company get established.
I’m not sure if I conveyed exactly what I was trying to portray in this comic but I’m pretty happy with the art. I was getting a bit bored with my panel layouts and wanted to do something I hadn’t done before. I definitely achived that.

I was excited to learn that Ryan Estrada reads Lemon Inc. and was even more excited when he sent me this awesome piece of fanart!
I love his version of the characters. Especially Andy’s pretentious expression.

Ryan is an comic artist, filmmaker, and adventurer. He is the creator of Aki Alliance, Chillin’ Like Villains, and The Kind You Don’t Take Home To Mother. He has contributed to the Flight anthology (which is where I originally discovered him), is a member of the all-ages webcomic collective, Lunchbox Funnies and is known for doing numorous guest strips. He also has a hilarious entry in the current Zuda competition called Sci-Fi Drive By. Be sure to check it out and vote for him.
P.S. There is now a fanart page where I’ll post any fanart I get.

Lemon Inc. reader and fellow artist, Praveen Sawh recently set up a daily sketch blog where he posts a sketch he did in his sketchbook every day. From Praveen’s blog…
Ok, so yesterday I had a moment on twitter where I decided that I should post sketches everyday. I don’t get much extra time everyday but if I can squeeze out atleast one little sketch consistently then that effort will make me improve. Right? I hope so…
Today he did some awesome sketches of Lemon Inc. characters!

As you can see he drew some Andys, some Tommys and some Jeffs. It’s always interesting to see other artist’s interpreations of your characters. He definintely nailed their likenesses and demeanors. Praveen also has a webcomic at http://m0m0comics.com. Check it out!
If you draw some Lemon Inc. fan art and send it to me then I’ll blog about it and link to your website if you have one. If I get enough fan art I’ll create a fan art page where I’ll collect it.

I want to redesgin the website. There a re a few goals I hope to achieve by doing this including:
- Make the comic smaller to reduce scrolling
- Create a shorter header to reduce scrolling and to bring the comic up
- Make a cool looking header that sets the mood for the comic
- Put the calendar/archive menu closer to the comic itself so that it’s easier to navigate the comics
- Move the blog higher up on the page to reduce scrolling
- Rewrite the about and cast pages to better reflect the comic
- Add new features and content (to be announced once website is launched)
- increase ad space while separating the ads from the content
Here is a draft of the new design’s layout…

Please tell me what you think of it or let me know if there is anything that is especially important to you regarding the design of a webcomic site.

I know the last blog post was about the store but I made some much cooler T-shirt designs that are now available.
May personal favorite design right now is based on this comic…
Also available…
It’s finally here! What is? The first Lemon Inc. T-shirt which also happens to be the first piece of Lemon Inc. merchandise ever!
I know it’s just the logo but I’m trying to start simple and work my way up to more interesting designs.
You can also get the logo on a hat!
…And a mug!

This marks the debut of the new Lemon Inc. store! I plan to start making more original T-shirt designs to put in the store. Soon you should also be able to buy prints of any comic in the archives from the store. I could also offer mugs, mousepads, etc. Tell me if there’s anything would actually be interested in buying and I’ll make it.
